Sarah Mooney

Sarah is currently earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at MacEwan University, and finishing her training as a Patient and Community Engaged Researcher at the University of Calgary. Living with chronic health conditions, Sarah became passionate early on about healthcare delivery, policy, and research. She currently sits on the CIHR Institute of Human Development Child & Youth Health (IHDCYH) Youth Advisory Council and is the co-founder and co-chair of the Alberta Health Services Maternal Newborn Child and Youth Strategical Clinical Network (MNCY SCN) Medical Traumatic Stress Working Group. Her research areas include pediatric medical traumatic stress, pediatric to adult healthcare transitions, mental health promotion, youth engagement, and STBBI healthcare delivery. Sarah enjoys reading and hiking in her spare time.
