Dr. Matthew Tunis is the Executive Secretary for Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization, an External Advisory Body to the Public Health Agency of Canada, where he oversees the workplan and scientific activities of the committee.  He holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology, and is an adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa School of Epidemiology and Public Health.  His research explores evidence synthesis methods to support immunization program decisions and recommendation development.
