Isabelle LeVert-Chiasson

Isabelle LeVert -Chiasson is the Education Program Officer with the Canadian Commission for UNESCO (CCUNESCO). At CCUNESCO, she is currently responsible for the national coordination of the UNESCO Schools Network, a global network that includes over 11,500 in more than 182 countries. The network acts as a laboratory of ideas by experimenting with innovative teaching and learning approaches to address global challenges. Previous to this role, Isabelle has both worked inside and outside the classroom in Canada and abroad at organizations including the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), Heartwood Centre for Community Youth Development, Katimavik, and Canada World Youth. Isabelle holds a Master of Arts in Education & Community Development from St. Francis University (Canada). Isabelle has extensive experience in teaching, facilitation and youth engagement
