Adrian Stanley is the General Manager for JMIR Publications, one of the first true pure open access publishers and disruptive open science innovator, who publish over 30 leading digital health related titles. Prior to this he was Manager Director, Publishers at Digital Science, and CEO of Charlesworth Group USA/COO of Charlesworth China, living and working in Beijing for 4 years. Adrian brings a wealth of experience from the global scholarly publishing industry, having lived and worked on 3 continents, he has held numerous volunteer posts within industry including Past President, International Taskforce Chair, and current Co-Chair of the SSP Funder Task Force for the Society for Scholarly Publishing, Adrian is also an Ambassador with DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), a former Associate Editor for Learned Publishing, and current Board Member for Canadian student not-for-profit group STEM Fellowship.
