Elizabeth is the National Research and Program Officer at Realize, a non-profit organization that is a leader and catalyst for improving the health and well-being of people living with HIV and other episodic disabilities, across the lifespan. Realize collaborates regionally, nationally and internationally in gathering evidence and promoting novel approaches to policy and program change across sectors and stakeholders. Elizabeth has more than 15 years of experience spanning basic science, clinical research, and community-based research in transplant, heart failure, HIV and most recently COVID-19. Having completed her MPH, she is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health, with a focus on knowledge translation as a tool for equity in women’s health research.
